My name is Matt Hennessy and I run a domestic and commercial garden services business called Dorset Roots.

I studied horticulture at Kingston Maurward College in Dorchester and then went on to start Dorset Roots. My time at college means I have access to a pool of skilled people with excellent horticultural knowledge.

I am a hard working, conscientious and trustworthy person who is always willing to go that extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. All my quotations are free and of no obligation, I provide a professional service at a very competitive rate, plus a 15% discount on all labour charges for the retired community.

My love for gardening was first introduced to me by my parents. I vividly remember as a small child helping to plant a Hollyhock (Alcea rosea) and being out in the garden every day to see how much it had grown. My Mum and Dad's enthusiasm was infectious and, although I didn't realise it at the time, they had planted a seed in the back of my mind for which I will always be grateful.
